Our Story
We started Neurosana because, over the years, we had both seen just how much the quality of neurological rehabilitation can vary.
Through our work in physiotherapy, case management and the medico-legal world, we saw private clients paying significant sums for rehabilitation that did not always reflect the level of expertise, communication or clinical quality they should reasonably expect. At the same time, we knew outstanding neurological physiotherapists working within the NHS; clinicians with deep experience, excellent clinical judgement and a real commitment to their patients, whose expertise was often undervalued.
We felt there had to be a better way.
So we created Neurosana to bring genuinely experienced neurological physiotherapists into private rehabilitation, while building a service where both clients and clinicians are treated properly.
We are intentionally selective about the physiotherapists who work with us. We do not recruit simply to grow numbers or fill geographical gaps. Every clinician must have substantial post-graduate neurological experience, strong professional judgement and the communication skills needed to work confidently with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
We also match referrals carefully. Rather than allocating whoever happens to be available, we consider the client’s diagnosis, rehabilitation needs, personality, goals and location before recommending the clinician we believe is best suited to them.
As a small independent company, we remain closely involved in the service we provide. We know the physiotherapists working with us, we oversee our clinical standards, and we want every client and family to receive the level of care we would expect for someone in our own family.
For us, private rehabilitation should mean exceptional clinical care, and exceptional clinicians should be valued for providing it.
